The notion of “AI is my Co-pilot” has taken shape of late. And this is true even if that particular paraphrasing hasn’t been embraced (and probably won’t be). This notion of the AI copilot is broadly speaking to not use AI to do the work for you. But rather to help you do the work. Or to help you do more of it. Or do it better. Maybe all of the above?
This was a key theme in the This Week in Local podcast interview I did today with Evocalize CEO Matthew Marx, who talks about both the challenges and the inevitability of the notion of AI sitting beside nearly every small business operator and helping them and their teams do everything better.
So when I saw an announcement today from the SMB SaaS firm vcita, this copilot notion was top of mind.
Today, vcita announced an upcoming product that it calls BizAI that has some copilot vibes to it. The company describes this as “the first AI-powered SMB business advisor bringing the promise of AI within reach for small businesses.” Ok, so what will it do, exactly?
“We are excited to announce the upcoming launch of BizAI so SMBs can make the leap into a faster, more productive, and more data-driven business environment,” vcita founder and CEO Itzik Levy told Localogy Insider. “Small businesses are the backbone of local economies and they need access to digital tools, like BizAI’s actionable AI-powered recommendations, to help maximize their business.”

Conversation and Content
BizAI appears to have both conversational and generative AI capabilities. More from the company’s description of the new tool.

According to vCita, BizAI will launch in the coming weeks as part of its overall SMB offering as well as a component of InTandem, the company’s new modular platform for its reseller community.
