SMG Launches Addressable TV Measurement Tool (April 1, 2015)
MediaPost: “Starcom MediaVest Group on Tuesday announced the launch of SMG Maps TV, an addressable TV measurement product that it says links addressable TV ad exposure to brand location visits. SMG launched the new measurement tool in partnership with PlaceIQ and Acxiom. The addressable TV component adds to the SMG Maps platform that the Publicis Groupe agency launched last year. SMG Maps is a location analytics platform. In short, SMG Maps TV pairs location-based data with TV viewing data to measure the impact that addressable TV ads have on physical visits.”

bieMEDIA Brings Video Services to Local Businesses (April 1, 2015)

ZenithOptimedia, NinthDecimal Take a Crack at Offline Attribution (March 30, 2015)
Street Fight: “A partnership announced this morning between ZenithOptimedia and NinthDecimal plans to bring a new standard of omni-channel measurement and audience insights to ZenithOptimedia clients. By going beyond traditional metrics, such as ad engagement and click-through rates, the partnership looks to enable marketers to understand actual conversions at the point of purchase — such as incremental lift in store visits. Using the platform, ZenithOptimedia clients will be able to connect mobile, online and offline data to gain deeper insights into their audience as a powerful, strategic media-planning tool.”

Neustar Integrates Nielsen’s Digital Ad Rating Data Into Platform (March 26, 2015)
MediaPost: “Neustar this week announced it has partnered with Nielsen to integrate Nielsen’s Digital Ad Ratings data — formerly known as Online Campaign Ratings (OCR) — into its marketing platform. Neustar has also integrated Nielsen viewability data into its platform. The integration beefs up Neustar’s pool of audience data, which it claims will allow marketers to more accurately reach their intended targets. The deal also gives Neustar a layer of third-party data it can use to validate whether certain audiences were reached.”
